Early Registration for Kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year is available from March 9, 2023 through May 23, 2023. Kindergarten instruction is also available through R-7 Online Academy.

Families who do not register during this early enrollment period have another opportunity to do so when Registration opens districtwide in July 2023.

Kindergarten Kickoff 2023

Our 2023 Kindergarten Kickoff events occurred on Thursday, March 9 at all R-7 elementary schools, including our virtual school, R-7 Online Academy.

Lee's Summit R-7 Schools has provided families with an all-day kindergarten program since 2009. Our annual Kindergarten Kickoff events occur annually each March and provide incoming families with an opportunity to receive information about their school program. The open house style events help incoming parents meet school staff, learn about summer school programming and register early for the upcoming school year.

To be eligible to enter Kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year, your child must reach the age of 5 before August 1, 2023.
