Kindergarten Kickoff 2027

Have a student excited to start school in the 2027-28 school year? Bring your incoming kindergartener to Kindergarten Kickoff on Thursday, March 4, 2027. The open house-style event is hosted at all LSR7 elementary schools. Check out your future school, meet the staff and learn about the opportunities for your student all in one night.

LSR7 kindergarten programs focus on providing a nurturing environment that fosters both academic and social growth while allowing children to begin to develop personal responsibility and independence.

  • To be eligible to enter Kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year, your child must reach the age of 5 before August 1, 2026. For more information about school entrance requirements, you may also reference our Board of Education School Admissions Policy (JEC).
  • Online Registration is an annual process in LSR7 for all families. Even after completing early registration, you must reconfirm your child's information when registration opens for the entire district in July.
